WHERE I END AND YOU BEGIN by Morgan Joanne Grube at CDF 2025

Inspired by the “Cleveland Venus” statue staged outside of the Carl B. Stokes Federal Court House in Cleveland, OH, WHERE I END AND YOU BEGIN was propelled by the Supreme Court’s decision to overrule Roe V. Wade and the renewed battle for people’s healthcare, privacy, and rights. “Where I End, and You Begin” is a scream without voice, a wound without gauze, a ghost full of grief, a need with no exceptions, and an exploration of how a contorted narrative oppresses those who don’t fit within it.
